Friday, June 30th … Day 55 … Tillicum Beach Campground, Yachets, Oregon
Nice sleep last night, woke up to a symphony of waves crashing on the beach! A damp chill in the air, fine mist filtering down through the pines, turned on the heat for a spell. After breakfast another walk, barefoot on the beach, 6 miles, not a “sole” in sight. Very hazy, not supposed to break until late afternoon. More chores, checked the trailer tires, gave them another pound or two, got to stay on top of that stuff. Quick run to the store, pasta tonight! I am not much of a reader but I have found myself on my third book so far, usually a nap will follow a reading. Typing this on the beach as there is no signal at the campsite, Carol is off on another walk……. Shhhh! Hear the waves?
Bananna Slug they average about 5" long, pic taken at the Redwoods in Ca.
Redwood shingled roof from Prairie Creek .... Hanging around the campground today... why not?!
Say something brilliant ...
